  1. The snow just kept on coming on Sunday, bringing a selection of winter pleasures and headaches.

    About two dozen snow lovers took to the hill on sleds at Fishburn Park on Sunday afternoon for the Roanoke region's first significant snowfall of winter -- and the biggest in two years.
    Kristy Buckles of southwest Roanoke County rode a classic wooden sled, while her husband, Bill, snapped cellphone photos. The couple's children, Avery, 7, and Tyler, 11, took turns sledding and chasing each other around the nearby playground.
