    Police said the victim of a Friday shooting in northwest Roanoke has been identified.
    Joseph Emanuel Hansil, 51, of Roanoke was shot about 5:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Melrose Avenue near Royal Deli Mart, Roanoke police Sgt. W.T. Drake said. Hansil was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Drake said.
