Salem police arrest teen boys, man in separate burglaries - www.roanoke.com

  1. Salem police last week made four arrests in two different sets of burglaries, including three middle-school-aged boys charged with stealing water bongs, cigarettes and a car.
    The Roanoke County boys are accused of breaking into the Tobacco City store on West Main Street and taking the bongs during the weekend of Jan. 28-29, said Lt. Joe Mills of the Salem Police Department. As part of the same spree, Mills said, the boys are also believed to have stolen a Mazda Miata from nearby Bruffey Street, and to have broken into the Quick Way Food Mart on Chestnut Street and stolen three packs of cigarettes.
